spoilers mild or otherwise afootmave and her men return in this next installment of the age of the andinna series and things get more intense as the rebellion led by alchan mave lukyas and others starts making moves against shadra and her elvasi and things also get far more interesting as we learn that not all elvasi felt the way most due about the andinna and we learn more about to certain extents the rebel elvasi elements in this book mave also encounters her surriving long lost brother and his bonded mate and while mave and her brother reach understanding about things and while i did eventually warm up to her brother we also learned why he didnt come after her due to the actions of his mate who i hope will step down from her leadership position and break the bond between maves brother and her in signs of atonement for the messed up things shes done and the choices that were made so nods i dont not like maves brother after all we learned but like mave it will take time for me to warm up to him fully and maybe in time they can be brother and sister again not the way they were when she was kid but something different and betters as for his bonded mate i have no good feelings towards her considering that yeah her beother may not have been able to potentially rescue her but we wont know for certain due to his mates actions of keeping him him close and bonding him to her i persoanlly hope that mate steps down from her leadership position or that some challenges her and takes it from her and that she goes away from everyone and is forgotten and that maves brother finds another mate worthy of him but nods in additon to all that mave learns lukyas secret about being son of shadra and reacts in ways i didnt expect but im glad shes gotten better in that regards and with that out in the open or rather atleast known to her now they finally work out there stuffs or begin to anyway and she claims him as her next mate :) mave also begins to heal the wounds of her past when during a celebration or holiday of the andinna she sees all the spirits of those who she killed or whos deaths she was responsibel for indirectly or otherwise and she confronts her father and says many things that she needed to say and she comes out of it better then when she started :) we learned also that shadras daughter is taking more active role in the elvasi resistance overall much happens in this book and much changes and grows as it will and overall i loved this book as with all her other books from start to finish and glad we learned what we learned in this book and that things are where they are now and i look forward to seeing what happens in the next part of maves story :) The Rebel's Vision picks up with Mave and the Andinna race plotting the rebellion against the Empire. You absolutely must read the first three books in this series or you will be fairly lost. This is a very deep series, with each book being a very generous read. Quite a bit is going on in each book, and the plotting is great. I have to warn prospective readers about Ms. Banet. This author jumps from series to series. I find that very frustrating at times, because I get caught up in her books, and have to wait sometime for 2 and 3 other series books to be written before we get back to the current one. The Age of the Andinna and Jackie Leon are my favorite series by this author. I also want to warn readers that in some of Ms. Banet's series, they are reverse harem books. Normally I don't like those and won't read them, but I started The Age of the Andinna not realizing, and the books are so deep and interesting that the RH aspect hasn't put me off. The fact that the sex is graphically mild (by today's standards) is another plus. What I really like about Ms. Banet's books - especially this one - is the fact that she writes about very strong, but flawed heroines. The have lots of adversary to overcome, and some of it is internal at times. In this particular book, we see the different factions of the Andinna starting to come together to form the nation they once were. The rebellion against the Empire takes off, and major strongholds are captured. Secrets are revealed about some of the main characters, and love interests are further explored. I love the world building in this book, even though it has a strong resemble to Ancient Rome. All in all, I would definitely read this series, which is supposed to be 7 books when completed.
